Donetsk, Apr 15 – DAN. DPR Emergencies Ministry explosive ordnance disposal teams deactivated over 600 explosive objects in a week, said acting head of public and international relations department of the Ministry Natalia Getova.
“Bomb disposal teams of the Emergencies Ministry have been alarmed 69 times this week and rendered safe 605 explosive objects, explored 77 ha of territory, including farm lands.”
The DPR Emergencies Ministry explosive ordnance disposal technicians regularly search for and deactivate explosive remnants of war, such as mines planted by the enemy, UXO and other objects. *ot

The Ombudswoman’s office reported in April that 440 people have been killed or wounded in mine or UXO explosions in the Donetsk People’s Republic since 2016. *ot
