Donetsk, Jul 2 – DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin has increased the salaries of public employees and Emergencies Ministry personnel by 20 percent.
“The salaries of executive employees, specialists and public sector workers increase by 20 percent starting July 1, 2019,” according to Decree No 182 published on the head of state website on Tuesday.
The increase applies to the salaries fixed by the DPR Head’s Decree No 186 dated May 7, 2015, No 186-1 dated May 7, 2015, and No 347 dated September 26, 2015.
A separate decree by the head of state, which came into force on July 1, increased the wages of Emergencies Ministry personnel by 20 percent.
Earlier reports on Tuesday said that the DPR Head had signed a pension increase decree.
In June, Pushilin announced a significant increase in public sector wages and pensions beginning from July. A new increase is expected in January 2020.*jk
