Yalta, Apr 18 – DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic and Syrian representatives at the international economic forum in Yalta began talks over exports of DPR products, DPR Economic Development Minister Alexey Polovyan told reporters on Thursday.
“We’ve begun talks with the Syrian Republic over our products. They are interested in cement for rebuilding projects as well as in metal and ropes,” Polovyan said.
Latin American countries have also displayed interest in DPR products, he added.
Reports on Wednesday said that DPR Head Denis Pushilin and senior officials from the Republic’s economic ministries arrived in Yalta, Crimea, for the 5th international economic forum. The forum hosted an exhibition of leading DPR producers.
This year, the Yalta forum has gathered more than 3,000 participants from over 100 countries, according to the organisers. The forum programme offers some 65 business events.*jk
