DPR sends 6,000 applications for Russian citizenship to Russian Federation

Donetsk, Jun 7 – DAN. The DPR has sent nearly 6,000 applications from its residents for Russian citizenship, said DPR Head Denis Pushilin.

“The DPR Migration Service has received 6,448 applications, 5,982 have been sent to Russia.”

IDs will be issued this summer.

On May 7, all offices for filing applications were launched.

Russian president Vladimir Putin signed a decree to allow residents of the Donbass region to obtain Russian citizenship under a simplified procedure on April 24. *ot
