Donetsk, Apr 1 – DAN. Ukraine puts itself in an unfavorable light by spreading misinformation alleging that the Republics do not fulfill their obligations under the Normandy Four communique, said DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.
Andrey Yermak, head of the Office of the Ukrainian president, said on Tuesday that the Ukrainian does everything to fulfill the Minsk Agreements, while the Republics allegedly do not comply with the agreements.
“Once again, we hear Ukrainian authorities’ messages that raise concerns about their perception of reality. Top officials imply that they fulfill the agreements reached at the summit of the Minsk Agreements guarantor-countries. At the same time we cannot make Ukraine coordinate and implement any of the communique articles for three months,” Nikonorova said.
“We, on our side, have fulfilled all the necessary steps and published drafts of our propositions as a proof,” she said.
Nikonorova mentioned that Kiev authorities often say that the Republics are not a side to the ongoing conflict, thus refuse to negotiate with DPR and LPR representatives just to protract the peace process. Nevertheless, they confirm that the Minsk Agreements are signed by the Republican representatives, some of the documents are signed both by Kiev and Donbass representatives on the same pages.
“We call on Ukraine to stop injecting meaningless fakes that have nothing to do with the reality to the media. They put themselves in even more unfavorable light instead of immediate implementation of the Minsk package,” she said.*ot
