Donetsk, Aug 28 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations mined more than 500 sq.m of land near Peski and Opytnoye, said DPR People’s Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.

“Ukrainian armed formations use the ceasefire to indiscriminately mine the territory. In a week, 42 anti-tank TM-62 mines were installed over 510 sq.m. of land.”

The area is controlled by the 56th separate motorized brigade.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”. The package came into effect on July 27. *ot
