Donetsk, Jul 2 – DAN. Ukrainian army units shelled villages in the south of the Donetsk People’s Republic with 152mm artillery on Monday night and Tuesday morning, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported.
“From 00:30 to 07:55, we have recorded strikes by Ukrainian armed formations at Kominternovo, Leninskoye, Patrioticheskoye and Kachkarskoye,” the report said. “Thirty-two 152mm rounds were fired.”
The enemy also used 120mm artillery pieces and 120mm and 82mm mortars, the JCCC added. Fire was delivered from Ukrainian army positions in the Talakovka township area and the Vodyanoye village area outside Mariupol. No casualties or damage were immediately reported.
On top of that, the Alexandrovka neighbourhood in western Donetsk was shelled with 25 mortar rounds on Tuesday morning, the JCCC said.*jk
