Donetsk, May 7 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire ten times over the past 24 hours, firing nearly 60 rounds at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire ten times expending 58 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Fire was delivered at Yasinovataya, the Mineralnoye village north of Donetsk, the Gagarin Colliery neighbourhood in Gorlovka and the Krasniy Oktyabr, Ukrainskoye, Kominternovo and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR. The enemy used mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms, he added.
Reports on Monday said that two houses had been damaged in the Kominternovo village in southern DPR in shelling by Ukrainian forces.*jk
