Ukrainian forces open fire at DPR 19 times over 24 hours, use howitzers – JCCC

Donetsk, Apr 7 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 19 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 160 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 19 times expending 166 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
The enemy used 122mm artillery, 82mm and 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
Strikes were delivered at the Volvo Centre area, the Spartak village, the Alexandrovka, Straromikhailovka, Zhabichevo, Trudovskaya Colliery and Yelenovka settlements on the Donetsk axis, the Gagarin Colliery, 6/7 Colliery and Shirokaya Balka settlements on the Gorlovka axis and the Sosnovskoye village on the Mariupol axis.
The strikes caused power outages in three villages in southern DPR.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire eight times firing 26 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
