Donetsk, Jun 11 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 20 times over the past 24 hours firing 220 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 20 times expending 220 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Strikes were delivered at the Vasilyevka village outside Yasinovataya, the Donetsk airport, the Spartak and Zhabichevo villages and Trudovskiye neighbourhood in the city outskirts and suburbs and Gorlovka’s neighbourhoods 6/7 Colliery, Verkhnetoretskoye Nizhneye and Zaitsevo. The Bezymennoye village in southern DPR came under fire as well, he added.
The enemy used 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units fired 245 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
